All but one La Paloma Calif. units back on line

LOS ANGELES, March 17 (Reuters) - All but one of the four natural gas-fired power units at the La Paloma power station in Kern County, California were back on line by Wednesday afternoon, according to a report from the California Independent System Operator.

On Monday, three of those four units were not on line.

Unit 1 of 260 megawatts remained off line on Wednesday. Unit 2 of 260 megawatts returned by Tuesday and Unit 3 of 256 megawatts returned by Wednesday.

The privately held La Paloma Generating Company owns the station, and Complete Energy Holdings owns 60 percent of La Paloma Generating Co. (Reporting by Bernie Woodall)
