UPDATE 1-Prudential analysts Mayo, Rutschow join Deutsche Bank
(Adds Deutsche Bank information)
NEW YORK, March 20 (Reuters) - Prudential Equity Group analysts Michael Mayo and Rob Rutschow, who covered U.S. financial services and exchanges, are joining Deutsche Bank, a source familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.
The two will cover similar companies at Deutsche, which they will join this month, the source said. Deutsche Bank declined to comment.
Among the companies covered by Mayo at Prudential were investment bank Bear Stearns Cos. Inc. BSC.N and discount brokerage Charles Schwab Corp. (SCHW.O).
Rutschow covered U.S. financial exchanges including NYSE Group Inc. (NYX.N), the Nasdaq Stock Market (NDAQ.O) and CBOT Holdings Inc. BOT.N.
A Prudential spokeswoman confirmed the two had left but declined to comment on where they were going. The two could not be reached for comment.
The move comes one day after U.S. exchanges and financial services analyst Mike Vinciquerra told Reuters he was joining BMO Capital Markets, a member of BMO Financial Group, from investment bank Raymond James & Associates.
