Cat Power, McLachlan on Bridge School lineup

NEW YORK (Billboard) - The lineup has been unveiled for the 2008 Bridge School Benefit concert, with school co-founder Neil Young anchoring a bill that features Wilco, Jack Johnson, Cat Power, Sarah McLachlan and Death Cab For Cutie.

Day one of the October 25-26 event at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, boasts performances from those artists plus Norah Jones. ZZ Top performs only on day one, while Smashing Pumpkins and Josh Groban perform only on day two.

Young, who hosts the annual, mostly-acoustic event, has played every year since launching the benefit in 1986. Proceeds from the shows support the Bridge School's work with children with severe physical and speech impediments.
