"Eight" is enough for "My Girl" star Chlumsky

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Anna Chlumsky, who played Macaulay Culkin's pal in the 1991 feature "My Girl," has landed a lead role in CW's comedy pilot "Eight Days a Week."

The project centers on four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York City. Chlumsky will play one of them, a girl-next-door personal assistant to an egomaniacal Web site publisher.

She recently appeared in episodes of "30 Rock" and "Law & Order."
