US STOCKS-Wall St turns negative on fiscal outlook worry

NEW YORK, May 22 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks turned negative on Friday as worries about the fiscal outlook of the United States persisted, with U.S. Treasuries and other dollar-denominated assets also lower.

* The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI dropped 22.69 points, or 0.27 percent, to 8,269.44. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX fell 3.91 points, or 0.44 percent, to 884.42.
