Juniper Networks raises forecast

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Juniper Networks Inc JNPR.O on Tuesday raised its revenue forecast for the fourth quarter but said it expects gross profit margins to decline from the third quarter.

The maker of routers for the Internet now expects fourth-quarter revenue of $770 million to $790 million, Chief Financial Officer Robyn Denholm told analysts on a conference call after the company reported third-quarter results.

Denholm said Juniper expects fourth-quarter earnings per share, before items, of 24 cents. Analysts, on average, are expecting fourth-quarter earnings before items of 23 cents per share, according to Reuters Estimates, and revenue of $751.3 million.
