TOP STORY - THE DEATH OF HEATH LEDGER

- Using the actor's cellphone, Heath Ledger's masseuse called actress Mary-Kate Olsen twice in California before dialing 911. She said she arrived at his New York City apartment at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday and called his cell phone at 3 p.m. When he did not answer, she entered the bedroom and set up her masseuse table. She then went over to him in his bed and shook him, but got no response. He was pronounced dead soon afterward - US

- Britney Spears showed up at a Beverly Hills elementary school, saying she was there to pick up someone else's kids.
