Icahn holds 9.77 pct Guaranty Financial stake -filing

WASHINGTON, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Billionaire investor Carl Icahn said he believes shares of Guaranty Financial Group Inc are undervalued and will disuss with management ways to enhance shareholder value, according to a U.S. regulatory filing on Thursday.

Icahn hold a 9.77 percent stake in Guaranty Financial, according to a disclosure filing made with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Guaranty shares closed down more than 9.8 percent on Thursday, or $1.36, at $12.47 on the New York Stock Exchange.
