Mexico's Carso posts 42 pct jump in quarterly net

MEXICO CITY, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Mexican conglomerate Grupo Carso posted third-quarter net profit of 2.411 billion pesos on Wednesday, up 41.5 percent over the year-ago period.

Stocks

Carso (GCARSOA1.MX), an industrial and retail holding that belongs to the business empire of Latin American billionaire Carlos Slim, said its July-September revenues edged up 1.7 percent to 23.9 billion pesos.
