Grupo Mexico unit declares $1.40 dividend

MEXICO CITY, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Grupo Mexico (GMEXICOB.MX) said on Thursday its Southern Copper (SPC.LM) (PCU.N) unit will pay a quarterly dividend of $1.40 per share.

Grupo Mexico said the dividend will be paid on Feb. 29 to Southern Copper shareholders registered at the close of operations on Feb. 12. (Reporting by Chris Aspin; editing by Carol Bishopric)
