Impact of US credit crisis on Mexico marginal-Ortiz

MEXICO CITY, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The U.S. credit crisis will have only a marginal impact on Mexico's financial system, Central Bank Gov. Guillermo Ortiz said on Thursday.

"The consequences on the financial system are marginal in as much as the Mexican financial system is well capitalized," Ortiz told reporters after an event in the Senate. (Reporting by Noel Randewich and Chris Aspin; Editing by Leslie Adler)
