Mexico stocks sink on global sell-off, Cemex weighs

MEXICO CITY, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell sharply on Monday as global stocks and oil prices dropped, helping the U.S. dollar firm and spurring investors to sell riskier emerging market assets.

The IPC stock index .MXX lost 1.07 percent to 30,292 as shares in cement giant Cemex (CMXCPO.MX) dropped around 5 percent. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by Dan Grebler)
