NBC.com sees "tens of millions" in revenue in 2009

NEW YORK (Reuters) - NBC.com is expected to generate "tens of millions" of dollars in revenue next year, an NBC Universal executive said on Thursday.

"Next year the NBC.com service will generate tens of millions of dollars" in revenue "in a business that didn't exist" a few years ago, NBC TV Network President John Eck said at a PricewaterhouseCoopers sponsored media conference in New York.

NBC Universal is controlled by General Electric.
