films at the North American box office for the weekend
beginning Friday, led by "Meet the Spartans" according to
studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.

 2 (*) Rambo ............... $ 18.2 million
 3 (2) 27 Dresses .......... $ 13.6 million
 4 (1) Cloverfield ......... $ 12.7 million
 5 (*) Untraceable ......... $ 11.2 million
 6 (4) Juno ................ $ 10.3 million
 7 (3) The Bucket List ..... $ 10.2 million
 8 (11)There Will Be Blood . $  4.9 million
 9 (5) National Treasure: Book of Secrets . $  4.7 million
10 (7) Mad Money ........... $  4.6 million

 "Cloverfield" was released by Paramount Pictures, a unit of
Viacom Inc (VIAb.N).
 "Untraceable" was released by Screen Gems, a unit of Sony
Corp (6758.T)(SNE.N).
 "The Bucket List" was released by Warner Bros. Pictures, a
unit of Time Warner Inc (TWX.N).
 "There Will Be Blood" was released by Paramount Vantage, a
unit of Viacom Inc (VIAb.N).
 "National Treasure: Book Of Secrets" was released by Walt
Disney Pictures, a unit of Walt Disney Co (DIS.N).
 "First Sunday" was released by Screen Gems, a unit of Sony

 "Mad Money" was released by Overture Films, a unit of
Liberty Media Corp's (LCAPA.O) Starz cable channel operator.
