Citigroup sells $2.5 billion of bonds - source

NEW YORK, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Citigroup Inc (C.N) on Wednesday sold $2.5 billion of 30-year bonds, said a source familiar with the deal.

The 6.875 percent notes, which were sold through sole lead manager Citigroup Global Markets, were priced at 99.322 to yield 2.30 percentage points more than U.S. Treasuries. (Reporting by Pam Niimi; Editing by Diane Craft)
