Morrissey to begin U.S. tour next month

NEW YORK (Billboard) - British pop star Morrissey will begin a six week U.S. tour in Las Vegas on September 21, an outing that includes multiple nights in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.

The night before Las Vegas, he will play the historic El Foro in downtown Tijuana. The trek wraps November 2 at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.

The tour will include four nights at San Francisco's Fillmore (September 23-24, 26-27), 10 at Los Angeles' Palladium (October 1-2, 4-6, 8-9, 11-13) and five at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom (October 22-23, 26-28).

Morrissey was forced to postpone a handful of summer dates in the U.S., including at New York's Madison Square Garden, after contracting a serious viral infection.
