Mexico's Femsa raises 2007 investment figure

MONTERREY, Mexico, June 28 (Reuters) - Mexico's Femsa, Latin America's largest bottler and brewer, raised its 2007 investment figure to 11.26 billion pesos ($1.043 billion) on Thursday from a previous sum equivalent to $890 million.

Femsa (FMSAUBD.MX) (FMX.N) said in an annual report sent to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it would invest the money partly in expanding its beer production capacity as well as opening new stores.
