Cablevision, which is in fierce competition with phone company Verizon Communications (VZ.N) FiOS TV and Internet service, said standard pricing for its Internet and phone services will remain unchanged.

Last year Cablevision, which has more than 3 million subscribers, increased its prices by 3.5 percent.

Since 2006 Cablevision and Verizon have been engaged in a public relations and marketing war over which service is better in technological and value terms since FiOS launched. Both services also compete with satellite providers like DirecTV Group (DTV.O) and Dish Network Corp (DISH.O).
