BOGOTA, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Colombia's unemployment dipped to 10.3 percent in October compared with 12.7 percent registered in the same month a year earlier, the government statistics agency said on Friday.

The figure measures joblessness in 13 major cities.

Colombia is enjoying strong economic growth as President Alvaro Uribe's U.S.-backed security campaign reduces violence and attracts more foreign investment. (Reporting by Javier Mozzo, writing by Patrick Markey; Editing by Diane Craft)
