The Killers heading back on the road in April

NEW YORK (Billboard) - The Killers will return to the road in North America this spring with a three-week tour, beginning April 6 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The group will play a blend of auditoriums, arenas and outdoor amphitheaters through April 29 in Boston.

Members of the group's fan club have had access to tickets since last weekend; the general public on-sale is Saturday (February 3). An opening act has yet to be announced.

The group's sophomore Island album, "Sam's Town," is inching toward U.S. sales of 1 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. New single "Read My Mind" is No. 18 in its third week on Billboard's Modern Rock chart.

April 18: Tampa, Fla. (USF Sundome)

April 19: Hollywood, Fla. (Hard Rock Live Arena)

April 20: Orlando, Fla. (UCF Arena)

April 22: Atlanta (Fox Theater)

April 23: Nashville (Ryman Auditorium)

April 26: Faifax, Va. (Patriot Center)

April 27: Camden, N.J. (Tweeter Center)

April 28: New York (Madison Square Garden)

April 29: Boston (Tsongas Arena)
