Berkshire Hathaway Finance launches $500 mln 5-yrs

NEW YORK, July 30 (Reuters) - Berkshire Hathaway Inc's (BRKa.N) Berkshire Hathaway Finance Corp on Wednesday launched $500 million of five-year senior notes, said a market source familiar with the sale.

The notes will be guaranteed by Berkshire Hathaway and are expected to yield about 1.68 percentage points over U.S. Treasuries, 2 basis points tighter than previous estimates, the source added.

Goldman Sachs is the sole bookrunning manager on the sale, which is expected to price later on Wednesday. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by James Dalgleish)
