TREASURIES-10Y notes hit session low after services data

NEW YORK, July 6 (Reuters) - The price on U.S. 10-year Treasury notes hit session low on Monday, adding to earlier losses, after a private report showed a further slowdown in deterioration in the vast U.S. services sector in June.

The benchmark 10-year U.S. government debt's price US10YT=RR was down as much as 15/32, compared with a 11/32 decline prior to the data.

Its yield, which moves inversely to its price, fell to a session high of 3.56 percent, versus 3.54 percent prior to the data and 3.50 percent on Thursday.

The U.S. bond market was closed on Friday in observance of the U.S. Independence Day holiday. (Reporting by Richard Leong; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
