BNP Paribas says three funds' value dropped

PARIS (Reuters) - BNP Paribas said on Thursday the value of three funds suspended due to volatility in the United States subprime market had declined rapidly in the past weeks.

It said the three funds had a value of 1.593 billion euros ($2.19 billion) at August 7, down from 2.075 billion at July 27.
