PARIS, March 6 (Reuters) - Subsidiaries of Publicis and JC Decaux (JCDX.PA) won contracts to operate 22,000 advertising billboards in French train stations, France's train network operator RFF said on Thursday, giving no financial details.

Metrobus, a joint unit of advertising group Publicis (PUBP.PA) and outdoor advertising firm JCDecaux, will be in charge of advertising spaces inside train stations, while JC.Decaux-Avenir will handle billboards around the stations.

The contract will run for eight years from April 1, RFF said, adding it was one of France's biggest advertising deals.
