Germany's Steffen wins 100m freestyle gold

BEIJING (Reuters) - Germany's Britta Steffen won the Olympic gold medal in the women's 100m freestyle on Friday.

Libby Trickett of Australia won the silver and Natalie Coughlin of the U.S. the bronze.
