The reports did not say how many passengers and crew were on board the Boeing B737-800, which was bound for Wuhan in Hubei province.

After the controls indicated a possible fire, the crew ordered all passengers to exit the plane, during which three passengers were injured, including one who suffered a bone fracture, CCTV reported.

No further details were immediately available.

Xinhua news agency said the incident was being investigated. It was not clear whether there was a fire or whether the evacuation occurred due to a faulty signal.
