Germany's Steffen wins 50m freestyle gold

BEIJING (Reuters) - Germany's Britta Steffen won the Olympic gold medal in the women's 50m freestyle on Sunday.

Dara Torres of the U.S. won the silver and Australia's Cate Campbell the bronze.
