BEIJING, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Sinopec, Asia's top refiner, will reduce crude throughput at its largest Zhenhai refinery by some 16 percent in December from a month earlier, as it continues maintenance that began last month, an industry source said on Wednesday.

The plant in the coastal province of Zhejiang had shut down a 100,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) crude oil unit in late November for 25-day maintenance.

December crude processing plans at Sinopec's (0386.HK) Jinling plant have also been scaled back due to repairs and concerns about weak demand. [nPEK273808]
