(Reuters) - Factbox on Xian Dongmei (China) who won the Olympic gold medal in the women's 52 kg judo on Sunday.

Age: 32 (date of birth: Sept 15, 1975)

Place of birth: Guangdong province, China

Previous Olympic result:

Gold medalist, women's 52kg, 2004 Olympics

Xian gave birth to her first child last year and claims to be the only "mama judoka" in China. Her baby daughter was cared for by Xian's husband in Guangdong while she trained for the Olympics but she received daily video updates.
