ING hires Alliance Trust CEO as Asia fund head

HONG KONG, July 10 (Reuters) - ING Groep NV (ING.AS)(ING.N) said on Thursday it had hired Alliance Trust Plc (ATST.L) chief executive Alan Harden as the new CEO of its Asia Pacific asset management arm.

The Dutch financial group said Harden would take up the role by the end of this year. He will fill a vacancy created when former chief executive Chris Ryan was poached by rival Fidelity International in January. (Reporting by Jeffrey Hodgson; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
