DC Chemical wins $580mln order from Deutsche Solar

SEOUL, Aug 12 (Reuters) - South Korea's DC Chemical Co (010060.KS) said on Tuesday it had won a 596.7 billion won ($579.9 million) order to supply polysilicon to Deutsche Solar AG, a unit of Germany's Solarworld AG (SWVG.DE).

DC Chemical will supply the polysilicon between 2010 and 2016, the South Korean company said in a filing with the Korea Exchange. ($1=1029.0 Won) (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
