S.Korea Samsung Heavy wins $458 mln ship order

SEOUL, April 16 (Reuters) - South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries Co. (010140.KS), the world's second-biggest shipbuilder, said on Wednesday it had won a 451.8 billion won ($458 million) order for one liquefied natural gas producer ship.

The ship would be delivered by March 31, 2012, to an unidentified company in Europe, Samsung Heavy said in a filing to the local stock exchange. ($1=986.5 Won) (Reporting by Lee Jin-joo; Editing by Keiron Henderson)
