Doosan drops bid interest in Daewoo shipyard-report

SEOUL, Aug 18 (Reuters) - South Korea's Doosan Group will not participate in bidding for Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd (042660.KS), a local report said on Monday.

Online news outlet EDaily said the business group, whose units include Doosan Heavy (034020.KS) and Doosan Infracore (042670.KS), would focus on its existing businesses.
