Seoul shares down; shipbuilders, steelmakers fall

 Foreign investors sold 563 billion won worth of shares, and
local institutions bought a net 557 billion won of shares on the
main board. Local retail investors offloaded a net 35 billion won.
 Decliners outnumbered advancers by 487 to 323, with 82 titles
ending flat.
 Trade volume stood at 234 million shares worth 4.8 trillion
won, compared with 242 million shares worth 4.11 trillion won on
Monday.
 The KOSPI 200 September futures index KSU8 fell 1.00 points
to 198.40 and the KOSPI 200 spot index .KS200 lost 1.12 points
to 196.44. The junior Kosdaq .KQ11 market shed 1.4 percent to
519.10.
