SEOUL, April 9 (Reuters) - Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp (6505.TW) restarted its 700,000 tonnes-per-year (tpy) No.1 naphtha cracker on Tuesday night, and was currently running at around 80 percent of capacity, two trading sources said on Wednesday.

But it will take several days for the cracker to be restored to full operation as some downstream facilities are still down, they said.

Formosa Petrochemical had shut the No.1 naphtha cracker since April 6 due to a power outage. [ID:nSIN296986] (Reporting by Angela Moon; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
