Seoul shares rebound on bank rescue efforts

SEOUL, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened higher on Monday in the wake of measures taken by central bankers and government leaders over the weekend to solve the financial crisis that has been crippling global markets.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was up 3.50 percent at 1,284.96 points as of 0003 GMT.
