Samsung Elec sees room for DRAM price hikes in Q2
SEOUL, April 24 (Reuters) - Samsung Electronics (005930.KS), the world's top maker of memory chips and LCD panels, said on Friday there was some room to increase prices of its computer memory chips sold on a contract basis.
"We think there is room to increase DRAM (dynamic random access memory) prices in the second quarter but (any rise) will not be significant," Robert Yi, vice president of Samsung Electronics' investor relations team, told a news conference.
