AIRSHOW-BOC Aviation orders 5 Airbus A330 freighters

SINGAPORE, Feb 22 (Reuters) - BOC Aviation, the aircraft leasing arm of the Bank of China (601988.SS), said on Friday that it has ordered five Airbus (EAD.PA) A330-200F cargo aircraft.

The planes are for delivery between 2012 and 2013, the company said in a statement.

Robert Martin, BOC Aviation Chief Executive Officer, said in the statement that the contract marked the first time that BOC Aviation has ordered cargo aircraft directly from a manufacturer. (Reporting by Daryl Loo; Editing by Ovais Subhani)
