DaimlerChrysler says to sell Dodge in China this yr

SHANGHAI, Feb 16 (Reuters) - DaimlerChrysler A.G. DCXGn.DE said on Friday it will start selling its Dodge brand vehicles in China this year, bringing all three of its brands into the world's second-largest vehicle market.

Dodge offers a wide range of products, including minivans and sports cars.

The auto giant is setting up dealership networks throughout the country, it said in a statement. It did not specify which imported Dodge models would be available for sale. DaimlerChrysler, which competes with the likes of BMW (BMWG.DE)in China, already sells Chrysler vehicles and Jeep and Mercedes-Benz brands in the country.
