SHANGHAI, Jan 10 (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. GM.N said on Thursday its sales in China rose 18.5 percent to a record 1.03 million vehicles last year.

Sales at its flagship car venture with SAIC Motor Corp (600104.SS) came to 479,427 cars, up 16.9 percent.

At its commercial vehicle tie-up in south China, sales rose 20.1 percent to 548,945 vehicles. (Reporting by Fang Yan; Editing by Andrew Torchia)
