China Life says to invest more in stocks, bonds

DUNHUANG, China, Sept 9 (Reuters) - China Life Insurance Co Ltd (601628.SS) (2628.HK), China's top life insurer, said it will seek opportunities to increase its investments in domestic stocks and bonds as valuations already looks attractive after sharp market declines this year.

China Life will also increase its investments in corporate bonds, in particular those issued by major Chinese enterprises to seek stable returns on investments, said Wang Junhui, vice president of the group's asset management unit.

China Life also intends to participate in more private equity deals to diversify its portfolio, said Wang.
