SHANGHAI, July 8 (Reuters) - China's Zhenhua Port Machinery (600320.SS) (900947.SS) won orders worth a total $2.03 billion in the first half, up 32 percent from a year earlier, the China Securities Journal reported on Tuesday.

The firm is currently working on orders worth a total $7 billion, and is chasing another $7 billion in orders, which will ensure a boost in its profit in 2008 and 2009, the paper said, citing company officials including its president, Guan Tongxian.

Zhenhua and engineering group Fluor Corp (FLR.N) won a 230 million euro order from a British offshore wind farm in June. The company is in talks for an Australian wind farm project worth several billion U.S. dollars, the newspaper cited company officials as saying.
