Stock Market Update - Mon Jun 11 15:00:01 EDT 2007

Mon Jun 11, 2007 3:00pm EDT

[BRIEFING.COM] The indices are off their recent highs, with much of the slight pullback on the Nasdaq and S&P 500 coming from a sell-off in one of their most influential names.

Apple (AAPL 120.99 -3.50), which was up as much 1.3% earlier amid kicking off its much anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference, is now down 2.8% after failing to announce any new product announcements. Apple is the fifth most heavily-weighted name on the Nasdaq.
