Singapore's UOL buys S$236 mln land site-URA

SINGAPORE, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Singapore-listed UOL Group (UTOS.SI) has bought a residential land site in eastern Singapore's district of Simei for S$236 million ($165 million), a government agency said on Tuesday.

The property developer submitted the top bid in an auction for the 32,210 square metre (346,700 sq ft) site which was offered for sale on a 99-year lease, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said. (Reporting by Melanie Lee; Editing by Ovais Subhani)
