Singapore's Wing Tai, United Engineers awarded govt site

SINGAPORE, Dec 28 (Reuters) - Property developer Wing Tai (WTHS.SI) and construction firm United Engineers (UTES.SI) have been awarded a residential land site in Singapore after they submitted a joint top bid of S$288.4 million ($199 million), the Urban Redevelopment Authority said in a statement Friday.

The 8,560 square metres land parcel is sold on a 99-year lease, the statement said. (Reporting by Daryl Loo; Editing by Ovais Subhani)
