UBS appoints Grigioni head of key Asia clients group

SINGAPORE, May 4 (Reuters) - The wealth management arm of UBS (UBSN.VX) has appointed Carlo A. Grigioni as head of its newly created key clients group Asia-Pacific, an internal memo said.

"UBS is committed to strengthening our Key Client franchise and we will continue to add resources to our Key Client business," said Kathryn Shih, UBS head of wealth management for the region, in the memo seen by Reuters on Monday.

The Key Client group will serve super rich clients, which industry estimates have at least 50 million Swiss francs ($44.25 million) in investable assets.
