May 15 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Thursday.

** CBS Corp (CBS.N) said it will make a cash tender offer for all issued and outstanding shares of CNET Networks CNET.O for $11.50 per share. The deal represents an equity value of about $1.8 billion, it said. [nN15197144]

** Italian regional utility A2A SpA (A2.MI) plans to buy out other shareholders in Delmi, a holding company for power company Edison SpA, by the summer in a deal potentially worth more than 500 million euros ($775 million). [nL15538301]

** Anglo-Swiss miner Xstrata Ltd (XTA.L) bid $398 million for Australian-listed Indophil Resources NL (IRN.AX) in a move that would give it full control of a giant copper mine in the Philippines.

Indophil rejected the A$426 million, or $1 a share, offer as "opportunistic", saying it did not reflect the value of the company. [nSYD139264]

** Turkish lender Vakifbank (VAKBN.IS) said it planned to sell all or part of its shares in its insurance and pension businesses, following a series of sales in Turkey's fast-growing insurance sector. [nL15777883]

** Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O) has agreed to acquire pioneering Web start-up Plaxo Inc, which was first to seek to turn address books into social networks and laid the foundation for Friendster and Facebook. [nN14545249]

** Deutsche Bahn [DBN.UL] has agreed to sell its stake in Vodafone's (VOD.L) German fixed-line business Arcor to Vodafone for around 330 million euros ($512 million), the Financial Times Deutschland newspaper reported. [nL1513596]

** Russia's former electricity monopoly Unified Energy System (UES) EESR.MM said it has sold the government's 28.5 percent stake in power firm TGK-11 (TGKK.MM) to Russian engineering firm E4 Group. [nL15803649]

** The investment vehicle of billionaire Viktor Vekselberg bought control of power firm TGK-7 (VTGK.MM), but a source close to the deal said it will transfer control to Gazprom (GAZP.MM) this autumn. [nL15791730]

** Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (2600.HK) (601600.SS), the world's No.4 aluminium maker, said that it had taken over six units of its state-owned parent worth 4.17 billion yuan ($595.5 million). [nSHA296356]

** The Bulgarian government gave the green light to German-led consortium KG Maritime Shipping to buy 70 percent of state maritime operator Navibulgar for 440.1 million levs ($349 million) the cabinet said. [nL15782582]

** Malaysian industrial and financial group Boustead Holdings (BOUS.KL) said it will take over its property subsidiary, Boustead Properties BOUP.KL at 5.50 ringgit ($1.69) per share. [nKLA007520]

** Trading Emissions Plc (TREM.L) said it was to buy Econergy International Plc ECG.L for an agreed 27 million pounds ($52.5 million) in shares, to develop clean energy projects in Latin America. [nL15129917]

** G4S Plc (GFS.L) announced divestment of manned security and monitoring activities in Germany to Securitas Deutschland Finanz Holding Gmbh, a subsidiary of Securitas AB for a cash consideration of 27 million pounds. [nWLB1657]

** The chairman of Japanese electronics maker Kenwood Corp 6765.T said his company could take a stake in D&M Holdings Inc 6735.T, the maker of Denon and Marantz audio equipment.

U.S. buyout fund Ripplewood's holding company RHJ International SA (RHJI.BR) is auctioning its roughly 49 percent stake in D&M, sources familiar with the matter have told Reuters. [nT316956]

** Search site Ask.com will acquire Lexico, home to popular reference Web sites Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com, a move that will expand its audience by 11 percent. [nN14517647]

** Communications services provider J2 Global Communications Inc (JCOM.O) said it acquired Phone People Holdings Corp. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. [nWNAS4241]

** Mobile value-added services provider OnMobile Global Ltd (ONMO.BO) said it has signed an agreement to buy France's Telisma S.A. No financial details were disclosed. [nBMB001739]

** China Eastern Airlines (0670.HK) (600115.SS) is still in talks to sell a stake to Singapore Airlines (SIAL.SI) and it is very likely the two carriers will complete a deal, China Eastern Chairman Li Fenghua said. [nSHA293901]

** British energy network National Grid Plc (NG.L) is interested in a possible bid for the high-voltage grid put up for sale by German utility E.ON EONG.DE, Chief Executive Steve Holliday said. [nWLB1650]

** Poland's largest refiner PKN Orlen (PKNA.WA) is willing to sell its 19.6-percent stake in mobile operator Polkomtel to copper miner KGHM KGHM.WA or Vodafone (VOD.L), PKN's deputy head said. [nWAR006878] [nL15106000]

** The largest investor of Polish jeweller W.Kruk KRUK.WA is in talk with financial investors to block the hostile bid by clothing retailer Vistula & Wolczanka, he said. Vistula & Wolczanka offered 289 million zlotys ($132.2 million) for two-thirds of W.Kruk earlier this month.
