 * Shanghai August copper SCFQ8 opens at 62,220 yuan at 0102
GMT on Thursday, versus 62,470 yuan at the previous close.
 * LME copper MCU3 up $30 at $8,125 after a 1.2 percent
decline in the previous session.
 * Oxiana Ltd OXR.AX said a small fire at its Sepon copper
plant in Laos would close the operation for 10-15 days and cost
1,800 to 2,500 tonnes of lost production.
 * Shanghai aluminium SAFQ8 falls to 19,055 yuan from 19,105,
while zinc SZNQ8 flat at 17,685 yuan.
