Aug 28 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 0530 GMT on Thursday.

** Nokia Siemens Networks [NSN.UL] said it had agreed to sell its 56.13 percent stake in Korean telecoms network company Dasan Networks (039560.KQ) to a group of Korean investors for an undisclosed price. To read more, please double click on [nHEL006684]

** Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (8306.T) will spend over $910 million to raise its stake in consumer lender Acom Co (8572.T) to more than a third, financial sources said -- a move that would boost its business in the troubled but potentially lucrative sector. [nT371573]

** Private equity firm CVC Capital and Standard Chartered's buyout unit are seeking potential buyers for Singapore's Amtek Engineering, according to sources familiar with the matter. [nHKG305579]

** Shares of copier and printer maker Ricoh Co Ltd (7752.T) jumped nearly 4 percent on its $1.6 billion acquisition of U.S. distributor Ikon Office Solutions IKN.N, while rival Canon Inc (7751.T) slid to a four-month low on concerns the deal would hurt its business. [nT20623]

** Shares in LG Electronics Inc's (066570.KS) parts making units, LG Innotek Co Ltd (011070.KS) and LG Micron Ltd 016990.KQ, rose after the companies said they were considering a merger. [nSEO69206]

** HSBC HSBC.L said it will raise its stake in Vietnam bank Techcombank to 20 percent from 14.4 percent in a deal worth roughly $77.1 million. [nHKG39633]

** Arcelor Mittal (MT.N)(ISPA.AS) plans to form a joint venture with Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group that will require total investment of 6.5 billion yuan ($951 million), Valin Steel Tube & Wire Co (000932.SZ) said. [nSHA43401]

** CITIC International Financial Holdings Ltd 0183.HK (CIFH) said its major shareholder, CITIC Group, had sweetened its offer to privatise the Hong Kong-listed company, boosting the cash portion by 48 percent. [nHKG35556] (Compiled by Tina Kwan in Singapore)
