BHP: Stybarrow reaches full capacity ahead of time

SYDNEY, Jan 15 (Reuters) - BHP Billiton Ltd/Plc (BHP.AX) (BLT.L), Australia's largest oil and gas producer, said on Tuesday its Stybarrow oil field off Western Australia has hit a daily production rate of 80,000 barrels ahead of schedule.

BHP said production at Stybarrow has ramped up to full capacity in record time and the field offloaded 2.5 million barrels of oil since it was brought online in November. (Reporting by Fayen Wong)
